How we work

The standards behind every project.

These aren't slogans. Each one describes something we actually do, and each one is something you can hold us to.

  • Written scope before code

    Features, integrations, timing, and final pricing are confirmed in a written proposal before development begins. You approve what's being built before it gets built.

  • Clear communication

    You get plain answers about what something costs, how long it's likely to take, and what would change either. No jargon used to make a simple thing sound expensive.

  • Thoughtful design

    Every layout is reviewed by a person against the job it has to do — not generated, glanced at, and shipped.

  • Practical technology

    We choose tools because they suit the project and stay maintainable, not because they're new. AI assists our workflow; the judgement and the result are ours.

  • Responsive by default

    Phone and tablet layouts are designed deliberately, not squeezed in at the end. Most people will meet your business on a phone.

  • You own your accounts

    Your domain, your Google Workspace, your data. We ask for the access needed to do approved work and nothing beyond it.

Scope

We define what's being built before we build it.

Every project begins with discovery. Features, integrations, timing, and final pricing are confirmed in your written proposal before development begins.

What that means in practice

  • You see the full scope in writing before any deposit is requested.
  • Anything technically uncertain is raised during discovery, not discovered mid-build.
  • Requested additions are quoted before they proceed — never billed as a surprise.
  • If something isn't feasible within your budget, we say so early.

Ownership

Your domain, your accounts, your data.

Plenty of businesses have been burned by an agency holding the keys. We'd rather make ownership boring and explicit.
  • You should own your domain name, registered in your own account.
  • Your Google Workspace account and all email data belong to you. Google bills you directly.
  • During an active Managed Website Care or Growth Partnership plan, your website may remain in a separate Vistarela-managed Vercel project.
  • Every managed client website uses a separate project and separate source repository, with isolated credentials.
  • After final payment, website ownership and source-code rights follow your written agreement and any third-party license restrictions.
  • If you don't want managed hosting, we provide a standard handoff to a compatible client-owned hosting account.
  • A Vercel project transfer and a source-repository transfer are separate operational steps.
  • Third-party accounts should be in your name wherever practical.
